OSU Recruit

OSU is evidently using a new recruiting method, I saw them Mike Gundy at the Hornets game this weekend. He said he was trying to recruit another LB for the team. I asked him why would he then choose to watch a basketball game? He told me that he liked his linebackers to have the skills of an NBA player. I said who would that be? Kobe Bryant! Oh yes, it seems in his recruiting he has decided players who have the background of a Kobe Bryant are great prospects.

Chris Collins, the new LB that OSU signed after he left the University of Texsux is now being investigated the rape of a 12 year old girl. He and his buddies got one of the girls friends to convince her to go out with them, they then proceeded to get both drunk and take advantage of them. I understand every program has thugs, but just wanted to point, out that sense Mr. Orange Glasses, will never admit it, OSU has the same problems and will recruit anyone as well.

  • Schilling (I assume),

Yes OSU offered Collins a scholarship, and I can only hope that the scholarship is contingent upon him being innocent. I want OSU to be represented by the best people that the university can get, athletically and personally.

The verdict in Collins’ case will heavily depend on the forensic samples, but this information will not be released until the case is heard.

    Guilty – Cut him
    Innocent – Let him play

This case is very hard to find info on, so I have a few questions. Was Collins 18 at the time? Is he being tried as a minor?

What was a 12 year old girl doing at a high school prom party?

I have faith that Gundy will do the right thing in this situation. I think that he made the right personnel decisions last year, and I don’t expect that to change.

  • As an avid Oklahoma State fan, and one who refuses to compromise his morals and principles for the sake of football, I'd like to say that this kid should *never* have been brought to Oklahoma State.

  • This case has been going on for three years now. From the beginning it was bull. The media can blow things out of proportion. They only focus on the negatives. They never mention that the sole called victim lied about her age, snuck out the house at 2am, and begged Collins to pick her up. What was a 12 year old girl doing at a high school prom party? I hope the contents will answer it. The media failed to point at that the DNA used to indict one of the gentleman was contaminated and that the lead detective, Chris Lee was demoted to patrolman. To make a long story short about what happened, two under age promiscuous girls wanted some action on prom night, snuck out the house duped some guys to pick them up and at the end the little girl called "rape" because she wanted to steer out of trouble for sneaking out at 2am in the morning. Where were the parents? Granted, people just had bad judgment that night but on the account that some little young girl lied to her parents, lied to the accused and lied to authorities. Unfortunately 4 guys are facing some serious time. Collins was 17 at the time and the girl said she was 15 going on 16. Collins took a lie detector test that assured that he didn’t know the girl’s age and no one forced sex on her. She wanted it. But under Texas law you can’t consent to sex if you are under the age 15. I pray for the best of these good guys. They don't deserve to go down on account of manipulation. I know that the other girl that was with the 12 year old, testimony can set these guys free. She knows the truth what happened that night. She knows that they lied to get sex and to hang out on prom night. And she will testify to that.
